Parking

Public parking is available at:

  • The GO Station — 30 Queen Street East
  • JC Saddington Park — 53 Lake Street
  • Port Street Market Square Underground Parking — 80 Port Street
  • JJ Plause Park — 42 Port Street
  • Port Credit Harbour Marina — 1 Port Street (parking fees apply)

PAID PARKING ENFORCED ON JULY 1

NO PARKING IS PERMITTED ON LAKESHORE ROAD BETWEEN STAVEBANK & ENOLA FROM 10 AM UNTIL 3 PM

Vehicles left on the parade route will be towed to the parking area at Elizabeth & Lakeshore.

Memorial Park

  • Entrance to Memorial Park is free
  • Event goes rain or shine.
  • No seating available — Please consider bringing a lawn chair
  • Must be 21 or over to access beer gardens
  • VIP area — restricted access
  • Food & drink available for purchase from a number of park vendors.

Accessibility

  • Memorial Park has a paved trail throughout the park for wheelchair access
  • Accessibility washrooms are available in the park & the arena

Memorial Park

  • Please keep your pets safe at home.
  • No outside alcohol permitted.
  • No personal fireworks permitted.
  • No bike riding through the park.
  • No outside food permitted.
  • Family picnics are not permitted.
  • No skateboarding in the park.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the park.
  • Do not leave children unattended.
  • In the event of a thunderstorm, seek shelter in the arena.

Parade Route

  • Please stay behind the barricades.
  • Please stay off the road.
  • Stay back from moving vehicles.
  • Please follow Security’s instructions.
  • No cycling on the parade route.
  • Remember to bring water.

  • Dress for the weather. The event is rain or shine.
  • Remember your sunscreen.
  • Keep a close eye on your children.
  • Bring only what you need. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Emergency Medical Services

  • If you become separated from your children, find the nearest security guard or police then head to the command centre located near the north (arena) memorial park entrance.
  • Should you feel ill or require medical attention, please make your way to the first aid tent located near the north (arena) memorial park entrance.
  • If you become separated from your family during the parade, locate the nearest security guard or police officer.
  • Should you feel ill or require medical attention, please contact security or police, they will contact the first aid team.
