On Canada Day July 1st, 2012, we are closing Lakeshore Rd. from Front St. to Enola Ave. from 10:00am to 12:00pm and Lakeshore Rd. from Mohawk Ave. to Seneca Ave. From 10:00am – 2:00pm for the Parade. We would like to offer you alternate parking if necessary at Mentor’s College or at any of the Public Parking facility from 10:30am – 12:30pm.
We would also like to invite you to come to the event. We promise it will be a spectacular Parade filled with lively floats, characters, fun, surprises, and so much more!
Join us immediately following the Parade for a Giant Canada Day Cake Cutting Ceremony with Dignitaries and O’ Canada sing along. Visit Port Credit Memorial Park where the fun will continue with family activities, trivia, great concert with the “Tribute Bands” ending with evening an amazing display of fireworks!
We want to show you our Port Credit community spirit and patriotism and encourage you to support your community by coming out to enjoy all the free activities this event offers, now on its 9th year “Paint the Town Red” has grown to be the event most residents and neighboring communities look forward to.
